John Hirst has been writing poetry for five years.
He recently received publication of his 120th poem.
Chronic painful illness coupled with a potent drug regime
means little sleep, most of his poems are conceived and crafted
in the lonely, dark and early A.M hours.
He also paints and creates ‘personalised poems’,
greeting and post-card verse.
His SIX booklet collections have sold over 500 copies raising over £2000
for charity/good-causes.
He his a Board-Advisor to the Sufferers Charity, ‘Survivors Poetry’
